Communications within health care settings are as diverse as the needs of people receiving care. 

Shelly has worked in consultative and content producing roles for two large health systems. At PeaceHealth system office she provided communications leadership for system departments in an era of significant change. At Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center, Shelly employed story-telling to elevate awareness of the medical center. 

Shelly's accomplishments in health care also include:

  • Creating PeaceHealth's first website dedicated to internal communications.
  • Guiding development and launch of Kaiser Permanente Northwest hospitals' first website.
  • Open Enrollment for PeaceHealth workforce (16,000 employees).
  • Leadership and execution of communications strategies for change management and other organizaitonal initiatives.
